Our class responded by coming up with a list of things they are learning in school. The biggest thing they wanted to mention was the author studies. Each of the 5 authors was listed. We even invited them to check out this blog! We packed up the letters and put them in a large envelope.
Then I dropped it off in person! At the request of my students, I read a book by Mo Willems and a silly math book (because the other class likes math). I talked briefly with the other school and came back with a lot of stories for our Junior Explorers!
